Graphic Designer Portfolio

Every graphic designer before starting their career needs to prepare their portfolio so that whenever they go for the interview, they can present their portfolio in the organization. Portfolio is basically the amount of our work done and it clearly shows our achievements in your career. Good and creative graphic designer portfolio can double the chances of getting a good designing job. When we do the graphic designing course, it is mandatory under our curriculum that we need to make the graphic designer portfolio in which whatever project we do, we assemble it in our portfolio, so that we can show it to people that what we have actually learned. The scope of graphic designing field is quite vast. Students can do internships, training, part time jobs, etc. This can help the students to explore their career and they get many job opportunities into this field which can be included into there portfolio for making better career and better portfolio. When you go for the interview, the major part is when they view your portfolio. In the interview, the graphic designer of that company only takes the interview and at the same time, there are 2-3 rounds of interview, but 80% of the interview gets over only after viewing your portfolio, because your portfolio shows your abilities of work and tell that how creative imagination you have. Moreover, If you choose to do freelancing work also, then also the client would request you to show your work, so again you can present it in the portfolio. When you prepare your portfolio, keep in mind always, keep your best work inside the portfolio excluding your bad work, keep the work in which you are best to and take only those projects in which you can do masters. Always carry your portfolio in good looking carry-case, your can decorate the case with your creativity which leaves the good impression. Another way of presenting your work is, making the soft copy of your work by making presentations. People mostly prefer to see the soft copies rather than the hard copies.
